The project European Meeting of Company Sport (EMoCS) intends to contribute to the European effort to further raise awareness of the importance of health-enhancing physical activity throughout increased participation in, and equal access to, sport for all, especially at the workplace.
It is also to be noted that the project objectives are in line with two of the three priorities set by the European Commission and the Member States in the newly adopted EU Sport Work Plan for 2014-2017: the economic dimension of sport (economic benefits of sport) and the link between sport and society (HEPA).
The format chosen to meet the project’s objectives encompasses a series of general and issues-specific meetings and workshops and two major EMoCS :
- EMoCS 2018 : composed of several activities and a day-to-day management, dissemination and other tasks that will be further developped.
- EMoCS 2019 : composed of expert groups and workshops in order to make assesments of consortium meetings, EMoCS 2018 and prepare AWL label.
